Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has decided to form two committees to hold meetings with Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Awami Tehreek (PAT) chiefs to curb political instability.
The decision was taken during a meeting that took place after observing the political situation in the wake of PAT and PTI sit-ins in Islamabad.
The committees would comprise representatives from all parties, said Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
Khan added that a formal announcement of committee members would be made on Monday, reports the Dawn.
He appealed to PAT chief Tahirul Qadri and PTI chief Imran Khan to end protests and violence.
