The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday said that Islamabad is not serious on the issue of terrorism and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is just using 'face saving tactic' to include separatist in the NSA-level talks.

"The separatists are not a party. Between India and Pakistan the two countries will only talk. If Pakistan wants to talk to anybody else then why they need a statement like the Ufa which was very specific. The talks were about terror by specified people, the NSA. This may be a face saving tactic by the Prime Minister of Pakistan for its domestic purposes," BJP spokesperson Nalin Kohli told ANI.

Earlier today, the Prime Minister of Pakistan asserted that 'Kashmiri separatist leaders are not a third party', adding that any dialogue process with India which does not include Kashmir issue will be futile.
