After Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was heckled in Washington by an activist who demanded to free the restive Balochistan province, the Congress on Saturday said that the double-face of the hostile neighbour has been exposed as it is clear that they are discriminating with Balochistan and constantly pointing fingers at India regarding the issue.

"This is the first time something like this happened in Washington. Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was heckled by a Baloch activist. He has never been insulted like this before. This also shows that Pakistan who constantly points fingers at India regarding Balochistan issue, is discriminating with Balochistan,"Alvi told ANI here.

"Free Balochistan" and "You are Bin Laden's friend" slogans chanted from audience during Prime Minister Sharif's address at USIP," a commentator tweeted quoting the Baloch activist on USIP's page.

The latest wave of insurgency in Balochistan was triggered after the Pakistan Army, under the direction of the then President General Parvez Musharraf, bombed and killed elderly Baloch tribal chief Nawab Akbar Bugti in 2006.

Pakistan says it is winning the battle against separatists in the restive south-western province, but Baloch activists say abductions, torture and killings by the army are deepening hostility for the government.
