Pakistan has clarified it will play no behind the scenes role while it would facilitate reconciliatory talks in Afghanistan.
The Foreign Office spokesperson said the reconciliation process has to be Afghan-led and Afghan-owned.
He added that Pakistan will give whatever assistance Afghanistan requests for and whatever Islamabad can possibly do, the Express Tribune reports.
According to the report, however, she pointed out that Pakistan was not involved behind the scenes.
