Pakistani rescue officials along with representatives of the civil defence force, bomb disposal squad (BDS) and security agencies are holding security training sessions with students and teachers at schools demonstrating how to locate and defuse a bomb, in the wake of the deadly Peshawar attack.
According to Dawn news, the emergency drills and other security measures are being demonstrated on the directives of the Punjab government.
Mock drills are also being conducted that involves giving assistance to injured people lying on a patch of grass and evacuating the building and adjoining areas.
Students who participated said that they were not afraid of any terrorists and expressed their resolve against terrorism.
One student said that they would utilize the training if the need arises.
