Pakistan has lodged a formal protest with India for capturing its 13 fishermen, calling for their immediate release.
The Indian Deputy High Commissioner in Islamabad was called to the Foreign Office where the Director General South Asia and SAARC registered a formal protest.
Indian authorities arrested the Pakistani fishermen on March 15, the Express Tribune reports.
Pakistan demanded that the fishermen be immediately released their boat returned.
According to the report, Pakistan's Fishermen Cooperative Society claimed that the fishermen along with their boat were within Pakistan's territorial waters when Indian authorities captured them.
