The Ministry of External Affairs on Thursday said the recent exchange of fire across the Line of Control (LoC) was connected with the infiltration on the Pakistan side.

Responding to a question on summoning of Indian Deputy High Commissioner, MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup said, "Yes our Deputy High Commissioner was requested to go the Pakistan Foreign Office today and Pakistan conveyed its concern about alleged ceasefire violation."

When asked about the ban on airing Indian contentment by Pakistan, Swarup said, "We have not imposed any ban like this. You can still see Pakistani serials on 'Zindagi' and many other channels. I will say it to be unfortunate and lack of self confidence on part of the Pakistani side.
