Pak Taliban reiterates peace talks offer with govt.

Pakistani Taliban has reiterated its offer of peace talks with the government, but did not clarify whether it had dropped its condition for the government to withdraw its support to the United States.

Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Shahidullah Shahid accused the government of spreading wrong information through the state-controlled media that the group's stance on the negotiations, Dawn News reports.

Shahidullah further said that they have always given a positive response, whenever delegations approached the TTP leadership for negotiations.

He asked the government for an explanation on its position, if it is sincere about a meaningful dialogue.
