Pakistani Taliban spokesman Shahidullah Shahid has slammed the government for their inability to establish peace in the nation by saying "Let them practise what they preach."

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesperson said that his organization will not accept western-imposed national borders and that the group can only enter peace talks with an independent government, the Gulf News reports.

In an exclusive interview, Shahid said that the group's policy is Sharia based, and not political. He denied of any changes made to their policy after the election of new chief Mullah Fazlullah.

He said that their fight is against western secularism as he believed that its system and education has been forced on Pakistani people for more than 200 years.

Talking about the TTP policy post 2014 withdrawal of the international forces from Afghanistan, Shahid said that Pakistani Taliban and Afghan Taliban will always remain one, despite forced upon western borders.
