Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) chief Mullah Fazlullah, the man behind the Peshawar school carnage, has reportedly been killed in an air strike in Afghanistan.

According to Gulf News, calling it a 'big blow' that will break the back of "TTP terrorists", Pakistan officials said Fazlullah was killed during a joint operation by Pakistan army and US-led forces in Afghanistan on Saturday.

More than 60 militants were killed in the air strikes carried out by the Pakistan army in the northwest near the Afghan border in the recent days following the school attack.

At least 141 people were killed, including 132 children during a terrorist attack on an army-run school in Peshawar.

The report quoted a highly placed source in Islamabad as saying that the news about Fazlullah's death would soon be made public and his body would also be shown to public.
