Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah on Friday criticised Pakistan for inviting the separatists for a meeting with its NSA Sartaj Aziz, saying Islamabad wants to show that Hurriyat represents Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh.

"When Prime Minister Narendra Modi had decided to have talks with his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif over the issue of Jammu and Kashmir, there were as such no talks about the involvement of a third party," he added.

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval will meet his Pakistani counterpart Sartaj Aziz for the talks scheduled in the national capital on Sunday.
