The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) has arrested 43 Indian fishermen for violation of their territorial waters in the Arabian Sea.
Seven boats of the Indian fishermen were also seized by the PMSA, The News International reported.
The PMSA has arrested more than 100 Indian fishermen in operations over the past one month for trespassing in Pakistan's territorial waters in the Arabian Sea.
The Express Tribune quoted PMSA Spokesman Commander Wajid Nawaz Chaudhry as saying that that 43 Indian fishermen had been taken into custody and were interrogated by the PMSA officials before being handed over to the Docks police for further legal action.
He added that the arrested fishermen would be presented before a judicial magistrate for obtaining their physical remand.
The Indian and Pakistani forces often detain each other's fishermen for trespassing territorial waters.
