Pakistan's maritime security agency has arrested 58 Indian fishermen for illegally straying into Pakistan's territorial waters.
The arrests came less than a month after the release of more than 300 Indian fishermen from Pakistani jails.
According to Dawn News, the Maritime Security Agency (MSA) said the fishermen were arrested. There nine boats were also confiscated.
MSA commander Mohammad Farooq said that they arrested 58 Indian fishermen after they violated the country's territorial limits, fishing illegally into Pakistani waters.
Farooq said the fishermen were handed to the police, who are set to prepare cases against them that could result in their being sent to jail.
