Condemning the series of terror attacks in Kashmir, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday said that it shows Pakistan's frustration and how it has become a major irritant in world peace.

"Pakistan is a major threat to the entire world community, which wants peace and prosperity, and has become a major irritant in world peace," BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao said.

Earlier on Friday, militants struck in a big way in Jammu and Kashmir, storming an Army camp in Uri sector in Baramulla district, killing 11 security personnel, including a Lieutenant Colonel. This attack was followed by multiple attacks in Srinagar, Tral and Shopian.

Reacting to the rallies conducted by Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed, the BJP leader said that the former is a terrorist and added that Pakistan is sending a message that they support a terrorist.

Saeed, the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, had addressed a public rally at the ground of the Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore earlier on Thursday where he spewed venom against India and the U.S.
