At least 136 people have died in Pakistan's Sindh province as a devastating heatwave gripped the area for many days, said officials.
According to Dawn News, the officials said 85 people who suffered heatstroke were either brought dead or died at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).
Dr Seemin Jamali, joint executive director of JPMC said that around 85 have died since Saturday night.
One of the doctors said that more than 100 people were under treatment in various hospitals run by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation.
