Pakistan issues visa to 81 Hindu pilgrims

The Pakistan High Commission has issued visa to 81 Hindu pilgrims to visit shrines in Pakistan on account of 308th birth anniversary of Shiv Avtari Satguru Sant Shadaram Saheb.

In line with Pakistan's efforts to encourage people to people contacts and promote religious tourism, the High Commission has issued visas to pilgrims under the 1974 bilateral protocol.

This protocol covers the pilgrims visiting India and Pakistan.

Both governments facilitate the transportation, security and accommodation for stay of the pilgrims during their visits.
