Pakistan, Russia agree to bolster military ties

Pakistan and Russia have agreed to bolster military ties.

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa conveyed this message of enhancing military-to-military cooperation between Pakitan and Russia to leave a positive impact on regional security to Russian Ambassador Alexey Youevich who met him here on Tuesday.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Youevich condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan and expressed grief and sorrow on behalf of the Russian government.

The ambassador acknowledged Pakistan's efforts in fight against terrorism and initiatives for economic growth.

He also appreciated the operation Radd-ul-Fasad and said that it will play a vital role in elimination of terrorism from Pakistan.
