Pakistani schoolgirl Malala Yousafzai, 16, who survived an attack by the Taliban in 2012 for campaigning for girl's education, has reportedly said that the world must not stay silent over the abduction of more than 200 girls in Nigeria.
Urging action, she said that if people remained silent then this will spread and will keep happening more and more, the BBC reports.
The girls were kidnapped more than three weeks ago by Islamist Boko Haram militants in north-east Borno state.
Malala, who underwent months of surgery and rehabilitation in the UK before recovery, is now a vocal campaigner for girls' access to education worldwide.
