At least three terrorists were killed at the Peshawar Air Force Camp early on Friday morning, according to security sources.
The terrorists used heavy weapons to target the guardroom of the camp on Air Force Road. However, heavy contingent of Quick Response Force (QRF) rushed to the site to fend off the attackers.
The exchange of gunfire between the law-enforcers and terrorists ceased after almost 40 minutes of intense fight, according to samaa.tv.
The ISPR said at least seven to ten terrorists tried to barge into the base, however, they were restricted to guardroom, adding that the security forces killed three terrorists in fight around the guardroom.
