Nine military courts are likely to set up to handle cases related to terrorism in Pakistan.
The decision is being taken even as a suicide bomb attack claimed the lives of eight people and injured another 16 at a Shi'ite mosque in the city.
The Pakistan Army's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), according to a CCTV report, briefed the media about the establishment of the military courts.
Military authorities said the courts will be in operation soon.
