Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch Sector in Jammu and Kashmir around early Sunday morning.
They fired mortar fire and automatics from around 4.30 p.m., which was responded "appropriately" by the India troops, said a statement issued by Defence PRO here.
However, no casualty or damage was reported, added the PRO.
