Union Minister M M Pallam Raju visited the residence of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Janardhana Reddy, who breathed his last today, to condole his passing with members of his family.
Reddy was suffering from liver ailment and was admitted to the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS). His body has been shifted to his house in Somajiguda.
Reddy was the Chief Minister between 1990 and 1992 and was known for his political acumen.
He was elected to the Lok Sabha thrice from Bapatla, Narsaraopet and Visakhapatnam.
He was the President of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC).
