ANI New delhi

Both Houses of Parliament are likely to be adjourned sine die today, marking the end of a stormy Monsoon Session.

The whole session has so far been washed out due to protests by the opposition, led by the Congress, on the Lalit Modi controversy and Vyapam scam.

Meanwhile, a meeting of Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs was held earlier in the day followed by a meeting of NDA floor leaders from both Houses to discuss their strategy to clear important pending legislative business and the future course of action.

According to television reports, NDA lawmakers are planning to march upto Rashtrapati Bhavan to submit a memorandum to President Pranab Mukherjee this afternoon, in which they are likely to blame the Congress Party for stalling the Monsoon Session of Parliament.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi will also meet all the Lok Sabha MPs of her party in Parliament today.

On the penultimate day of the session yesterday, the Government had rejected the Congress' demand for the resignation of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
