Managing Director of Patanjali, Acharya Balkrishna on Thursday attributed the success of Patanjali to public's acceptance in the country.
Acharya Balkrishna, who was present at the World Food India 2017 at Delhi's Vigyan Bhawan, also stated that the company does not see the country as business medium.
"We never saw the country as a medium for doing business. Patanjali has reached where it is now because of people's acceptance," Balkrishna said in response to CEO of government think-tank Niti Aayog, Amitabh Kant's statement that Patanjali is giving competition to companies like ITC.
Kant's statement came in reference to India's jump from 130th to 100th rank in World Bank's ease of doing business index
In October, Patanjali climbed from 45th place last year to 19th this year, in the Forbes magazine's Annual India Rich List 2017.
