Patricia Arquette has revealed that she paid more money to her babysitter and her dog walker than she received over the 12 years of the 'Boyhood' film's life.

The 46-year-old actress, for whom it's important as an actor to be able to make a living, said that television actually allows people to make a living, feed children, send them to college and to have the luxury to make the choices of doing what it is they think that matters, News.com.au reported.

The Golden Globe winner added that 'Boyhood's' win blows her mind because they didn't even know if people would even accept this movie and then to find at first that people were moved by the movie.

Arquette, who won prize for Best Supporting Actress, continued that she is very happy for Rick (Linklater) and the producers, who gave four million dollars, because they gambled on a movie with no safety net, no contracts past seven years and they could've ended up with nothing.
