Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen won't star in the next 'X-Men' film, it has been reported.
Speaking on an American chat show, Stewart told host Larry King that it is going to be looking very much at the earlier lives of all their characters and so he does not think that he and McKellen will be making an appearance, the BBC reported.
'X- Men's next installment titled 'X-Men: Apocalypse' is expected to focus on the cast of 'X-Men: First Class', which included James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence.
Stewart and McKellen have played the roles of Professor X and Magneto in the X-Men series since 2000.
