Paul Gascoigne had dental surgery without anesthesia

Paul Gascoigne recently had a dental surgery without the use of any anesthesia as he was afraid that he would get hooked on pain-killing drugs.

The 47-year-old football legend posted on twitter that he had three implants into his jaw in a one hour and 45 minute operation to screw the implants, the Daily Star reported.

Gascoigne admitted that he didn't take pain meds as painkillers could further lead to drinks and drugs and he didn't want to go down that path again.

Gascoigne had earlier broke his arm and he waited for almost a day in the hospital before his operation began as he selflessly let children who were awaiting surgery to go first.
