The giant anaconda that was seen in Paul Rosolie's documentary 'Eaten Alive' was actually a ringer as the wildlife expert was unable capture a 25-foot snake in the wild of the Amazon.

The documentary which recently aired in the US is being taken as a failed stunt as Rosolie was expected to be eaten alive the giant snake but instead the captive snake failed to even try eating the show's host, TMZ.com reported.

Sources said that the stand-in snake turned out to be too small to get the job done.

Rosolie eventually tapped out when that pain became too much to bear.
