Indian cricketer Pawan Shah has become the second-highest individual scorer in the Under-19 matches playing a smashing knock of 282 runs in the final match of the ongoing four-match test series here on Wednesday.
The 18-year-old is now placed just behind Australian Clinton Peake who had scored 304 runs against India in 1995.
Meanwhile, India put in a total of 613 in the first inning in reply to which, Sri Lanka scored 140 runs at the loss of four wickets.
For India, pacer Mohit Jangra picking up three wickets for 43 runs.
