Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has banned left-arm spinner Raza Hasan for two years, after he failed a dope test in a domestic competition.
PCB said in a statement that Hasan has been banned for two years on a failed dope test and would be ineligible to participate in cricket, Sport24 reported.
The statement further said that during the ban, Hasan would not be able to participate in any form of cricket or activity organised by PCB.
Earlier, PCB had conducted dope tests during the Pentangular one-day cup 2015 in Karachi, and the sample collected from Hasan was subsequently analysed at a World Anti-Doping Agency accredited laboratory.
The results were relayed to the PCB, who banned Hasan on the basis of their anti-doping rules.
The left-arm spinner has played one ODI and 10 T20 internationals for the national side.
