The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reportedly hired South-Africa-born former Bangladesh trainer Grant Luden as the trainer and fielding coach of their national team.

Following the failure of the team to qualify for the semifinals of the World Twenty20, the team management underwent a major revamp with the hiring of head coach Waqar Younis, Spin consultant Mushtaq Ahmed and batting coach Grant Flower.

According to the Express Tribune, the PCB had decided to hire a fielding coach who could perform dual duties of a trainer as well which made Luden the favourite candidate.

Luden also got the job due to his diverse skills of delivering in more than one field, the report added.
