Spanish director Pedro Almodovar is going to be honoured by the European Film Academy for his achievement in world cinema.
The Academy award winner said that he was 'very thankful' for the honorary award, the BBC reported.
The 63-year-old said will be receiving the prize at a ceremony in Berlin on December 7.
