Brazilian football legend Pele has said that England has the same chance of winning this year's World Cup as his country.
However, Pele is hoping that the hosts end up facing Uruguay in the final so that they can make amends for their 1950 humiliation, when they were big favourites to win the tournament 64 years ago but suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to their South American neighbours at the Maracana.
According to the BBC, Pele said that he would prefer Brazil face Uruguay, and then they would have the revenge.
Pele, who won the World Cup three times with Brazil, added that England like Brazil, Italy, and France have a reputation and the hosts should be prepared for them.
Pele, who is regarded as the best footballer of all time, further added that they have to respect England because they have the same chance as what Brazil has.
