People in the valley will not be content with talks and negotiations any more, said senior BJP leader and former union finance minister Yashwant Sinha, on Saturday.

This came a day after concluding a meeting with civil society group, Concerned Citizens Group, to discuss the civil issues in the valley.

While speaking to ANI after the meeting, Sinha felt that a constituency for peace is possible, but without isolation.

"The people over here want peace. But they want peace and dialogue to go together. People want a final resolution with respect to Jammu and Kashmir. They won't merely accept discussions anymore," he said.

He added that purposeful dialogues must take place and that the whole country should come to a resolution.

Sinha said that due credits must be given to Prime Minister Modi and that people are looking at the operational aspect of working towards Kashmir because of him.

"We have been talking to the state and central government to operationalize these dialogues," he said.

Prior to the meeting, Sinha had stressed on the importance of the civil societies in restoring peace in the valley.
