A recent poll conducted by Gallup has found that people are best pleased with the way they look when they reach their 65th year.

The survey, which was done on 80,000 American adults irrespective of their ages, asked the subjects to rate their feelings on the statement 'you always feel good about your physical appearance', the Huffington Post reported.

Two-third of people aged 65 and over, which was highest of any age group surveyed, agreed with the statement, with 58 percent nod from everyone who was surveyed.

Meanwhile, the 18-34 age felt confident about their body, with 61 percent saying they always feel good about their looks. The 'body confident' factor dropped down to 54 percent in the middle-age years, and rose again in the retirement years.

Gallup's Justin McCarthy explained that when people age, its' possible that the societal expectations and appearance standards gives them a whole new renewed sense of confidence.
