Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is sitting on a dharna outside Rail Bhavan demanding the suspension of Police officers who defied the orders of the Delhi Cabinet Ministers Somnath Bharti and Rakhi Birla, on Monday said the people are watching the 'dictatorship of the Congress led Central Government' and will teach them a lesson in the upcoming general elections.
"The people are watching all this and will teach a lesson to the Congress in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections," Kejriwal told media here today.
He asked, "Who is more dangerous to Delhi- Shinde or Saurabh Bhardwaj? Who will decide this?"
"On what basis Akhilesh Tripathi was beaten by the police? He is a sitting MLA and the police had beaten him mercilessly. Saurabha Bhardwaj is a sitting minister and he was detained by the police? He was not breaking any law," said Kejriwal.
"The Delhi Police have to answer these questions," he added.
Earlier today, AAP leader and Delhi Transport Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj was taken into preventive custody by the Delhi Police. Bhardwaj was released by the police after a while.
