Peter Thiel, the prominent billionaire venture capitalist and an earlier investor in Facebook, has criticized the Twitter team for mismanaging the company and has alleged that the social network is run by pot smokers.
The Mashable reports that during an interview with CNBC on Tuesday, Thiel said that while Twitter has "a lot of potential," the team running it seems to be too high to realize that potential.
He said that Twitter was hard to evaluate and that it was a "horribly mismanaged" company.
Thiel said that a lot of pot smoking goes on in the company, adding that it works even with all that as it's a solid franchise.
