Maulana Ansar filed a petition against Shiv Sena's Members of Parliament (MP) here on Thursday for forcing a Muslim catering supervisor to break his Ramzan fast at the Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi.
The petitioner, Maulana Ansar, alleged the MPs for purposely forcing the person to eat so as to spread communal violence.
"We have demanded the High Court that the presidents of both the Sadans should hold a legal enquiry against these 11 Members of Parliament and cancel their membership because they don't deserve to sit in Parliament ; instead they should be made to sit in Tihar Jail. We have also demanded the sitting judge of High Court should investigate the reason behind this," said Ansar
Petitioner's Lawyer N.K. Jha added, the petitioner has demanded that an investigation against Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray should also be conducted and a criminal case should be registered. They have also demanded that Shiv Sena symbol should be de-recognized by the Election Commission and a team of special sitting judge of High Court should investigate it."
