A petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court seeking cancellation of interim bail granted to Kanhaiya Kumar, saying the Jawaharlal Nehru University students' union president had violated bail conditions and made some objectionable remarks against the armed forces.
The matter will be heard on Wednesday.
Kanhaiya, who was earlier arrested on charges of sedition, was released from the Tihar Jail on an interim bail of six months.
A case was later registered against him in the Kanpur civil court for giving objectionable statement against the army personnel.
Speaking at a student's gathering on International Women's Day, Kanhaiya alleged that the Indian Army personnel have committed atrocities against women in Jammu and Kashmir.
Kanhaiya was arrested earlier on February 12 in connection with an event organised in the JNU campus on February 9 during which anti-India slogans were allegedly raised.
