American singer Pharrell Williams has admitted that 'The Voice' doesn't produce big stars and contestants should not consider it as their career's start.
The 42-year-old singer, who is a judge on the US version of the music show, said that 99 percent of people who have been on music shows didn't find success even after winning it and this is what contestants should keep in mind, the Mirror has reported.
The 'Happy' hit-maker added that he spends most of his time telling contestants that being in the contest doesn't make them successful and that the show is not the be all and end all instead it's the spring board.
