Pierce Brosnan's friend has revealed that the actor tried everything that he could to save his daughter Charlotte from the clutches of ovarian cancer.
Lisa Paulsen, president of the Entertainment Industry Foundation and a longtime Brosnan family friend told People Magazine that Pierce was willing to pick up the phone and call anyone, go anywhere, take his daughter anywhere and do anything for her at anytime, asserting that the 60-year-old star was desperate.
Despite Pierce's best efforts to get Charlotte included into the latest clinical trials, she lost her three-year battle with the disease on June 28.
Charlotte was Pierce's first wife Cassandra Harris' daughter, whom the actor adopted after her father died.
