Pierce Brosnan has revealed that he wasn't cast in 'Angela's Ashes' adaptation for being deemed "too handsome".
The James Bond star had given a call to Frank McCourt, who's the author of the 1996 memoir in hopes of being cast in the film adaptation, but was told by the author that he was too handsome for it, Huffington Post reported.
Brosnan added that when he had read the memoir, he really wanted to play the part, but he knows that these kinds of critiques are par for the course as an actor and one has to be comfortable in their own skin, and "wear it lightly and just get on with the job, be good to people, be kind to people, show up, read the lines, hit the mark and go home.
