Piers Morgan will be walking out of his prime-time show due to low viewers ratings.
The former London newspaper editor candidly said that he will be stepping down from prime-time show 'Piers Morgan Live', the New York Post reported.
In an interview with media columnist David Carr, Morgan said that lately, the show has a taken a bath in the ratings and it has been a painful period for him.
The 48-year-old TV host further stated that he is a British guy who debates on American cultural issues, including guns, which has been very polarizing and undoubtedly there are many in the audience who are tired of him banging on about it.
Morgan said that he's in talks with CNN chief Jeff Zucker to make a graceful exit though he still wants to work for CNN and interview news makers.
