Paralympic sprinter Oscar Pistorius has said that he does not believe his slain girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp was scared of him and added that he did not treat the model badly.
Pistorius has faced fierce cross-examination during his murder trial, with the prosecution demanding he admit his model girlfriend's death was more than just a 'terrible mistake'.
Insisting during his testimony at the North Gauteng High Court on Thursday, Pistorius said that Steenkamp was a person who stood for herself, adding that if he treated her badly, she would have left him long ago.
However, Pistorius admitted that he should have treated her like a lady more often, adding that it is his fault for not doing that.
