Oscar Pistorius, the South African Paralympic champion who is charged with murdering his girlfriend, will not compete this year in any event as he awaits trial.
Pistorius stands accused of premeditated murder after the death of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp at his Pretoria home.
According to sports 24, Pistorius will face trial in the North Gauteng High Court on 4 June.
EWN reported that Pistorius' coach Ampie Louw confirmed that they have turned down invitations to take part in major international athletic events.
He went onto say that Pistorius was not in the correct frame of mind to return to competitive action.
Reports suggested that shortly after Pistorius was released on bail he resumed training and even had his bail conditions altered in order to allow him to compete, the report added.
