Manchester City has displayed a resilient performance by securing 3-0 win against West Brom in its first match of the current Premier League season.
It was midfielder Yaya Toure's effort in the 9th minute that helped his side to take a lead. Manchester City managed to double its score when Toure curled a shot into the top corner in the 24th minute, the BBC reported.
City's player Vincent Kompany scored the third goal after he directed a great header into the far corner.
West Brom made several efforts to increase their lead but could not succeed.
Manchester City will lock horns with Chelsea in their next encounter.
