Playboy magazine, which recently released its first Hebrew language edition in Israel, has not had a negative reaction till now, according to CEO of Playboy Israel.

Dan Pomerantz told CNN that it's a time when Israel is joining the family of modern nations and Playboy is just part of modern global culture.

He said that the brand has been popular in Israel for a long time and a Hebrew language magazine can reach the entire market, CNN reported.

Pomerantz said that the public are becoming more comfortable with the content of the magazine and that he is optimistic about magazine's ability to push a few boundaries.

He asserted that on the basis of statistics on their website and Facebook, they can tell that their followers include Arab speakers and Palestinians within Israel and neighbouring countries.

Pomerantz said that they are looking forward to putting together special content that specifically targets Arab market, adding that they have seen so far a real interest that they would like to encourage.
