Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced that schools across the country will provide lessons on hygiene and cleanliness for one week in November.
Addressing a rally here, Prime Minister Modi said, "From November 14 to 19, in the entire country, in all the schools, lessons will be given on hygiene and cleanliness."
This announcement comes less than a week after the Prime Minister launched the Swachh Bharat Andolan in the national capital, a campaign that seeks to create a clean India by 2019.
