Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is currently on the first leg on his three-nation, nine-day tour, on Friday arrived at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) headquarters at Place de Fontenoy, Paris, to address the august gathering.
Upon his arrival, he was greeted by UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova, with whom he shook hands and exchanged pleasantries.
Later, he paid floral tributes at the bronze statue of spiritual leader Sri Aurobindo, before departing for his address.
