PM Modi arrives in Mauritius

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday arrived at the Port Louis airport in Mauritius after the conclusion of his successful trip to Seychelles.

Prime Minister Modi, who is on a two-day visit to the island nation, will be the Chief Guest at the Independence Day celebrations in the nation on March 12.

The Prime Minister will also address the National Assembly of the country.

He will also participate in the joint commissioning of Indian-built Offshore Patrol Vessel Barracuda, and in the beginning of construction works for the building of World Hindi Secretariat.

The Prime Minister will also discuss with his Mauritian counterpart, Sir Anerood Jugnauth, the ways to further deepen strategic partnership between India and Mauritius.
